    What kind of film do you use for your shots…such low contrast, it really brings out the skin tones so realistically.

    No film–for almost a year now I\’ve been shooting with a Pentax ist D. I do think in black and white and am used to Tri-X though, so I process my images so they look as much as that film as possible. I also do a (normal) amount of dodging and burning, but nothing that couldn\’t be done in a darkroom.

    I take your assumption of film as a compliment though. All the pictures in this photoblog are digital, and the ones in the main site are a mix, with the older ones being mostly Tri-X.

  • yes, very nice emotional photo. I like noise in photos, looking like photos from analog camera gives B&W photos good atmosphere.
